Work Timings: 9:30 AM – 7:30 PM (6 days a week)
Location: Ajman, UAE
Position Overview
The Cost Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing for exhibition stands, retail
displays, and fit-out projects. The role requires close coordination with the design and production teams to ensure technical
feasibility and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing for various projects including exhibition stands, retail displays, and
commercial fitouts.
• Analyse technical drawings, material lists, and client specifications to ensure accurate cost evaluations.
• Collaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to validate technical details and optimize material
usage.
• Monitor and track project costs to ensure adherence to budgets and assist in cost control measures.
• Support procurement in identifying cost-effective materials and suppliers without compromising on quality.
• Maintain and update a database of current material and labour costs to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cost estimation within the Retail Display, Exhibition, or Commercial Fitout industry.
• Strong understanding of materials, production processes, and project drawings.
• Excellent command of English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
